A strong sense of purpose, team spirit and trust propel the Adecco Group onto the 2016 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces ranking.

Adecco Group ranked 7th among the best multinationals to work for in the world

Zurich, Switzerland, October 26, 2016: The Adecco Group, the world’s leading provider of workforce solutions, placed 7th on the ranking of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces, according to Great Place to Work® and Fortune. A sense of purpose and making a difference to people’s lives was cited by Adecco Group employees as a key value, as well as openness, trust, warm informality, team spirit and opportunities for personal growth and impact.

The Adecco Group features in 7th place in the 2016 list compiled by Great Place to Work®, an independent US research, consulting and training organisation. Great Place to Work® selected the world’s best from more than 6,000 multinationals that have participated in Best Workplaces competitions throughout the world. Great Place to Work To make it onto the shortlist, companies must appear in at least 5 national Best Workplaces lists, have over 5,000 employees and more than 40% of their workforce based outside their home country.

The Adecco Group qualified as a result of its success in appearing in Great Place to Work® Best Company lists in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The Group also ranked 5th in the 2016 Best Workplaces in Europe.

About the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list
Since 2011, Great Place to Work® has identified the top organizations that create great workplaces in multiple countries in which they operate through the publication of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list. To be considered eligible for the multinational list, companies must meet our definition of a Multinational Company and appear on a minimum of 5 national best workplaces lists that rank organizations based on the results of their Trust Index© employee survey and Culture Audit© assessment (to qualify in the United States, we look at winners of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list). The results of those national lists, in addition to extra points awarded for the number of countries an organization surveyed employees in, and the percentage of the company’s global workforce represented by those surveys, are combined to create a top 25 ranking.

Candidates for the list must have a minimum of 5,000 employees worldwide, and 40% of their workforce (or 5,000 employees) must be based outside of the country in which they are headquartered.
