Our client, an international fast-growing company, providing innovative healthcare solutions globally, is looking for the Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to join their Head Quarters in Canton Zug, Switzerland.

Your tasks

• Be accountable to provide direct legal support to both the Heads of various business segments (based in Switzerland), and their respective leadership teams (based globally) in their business and commercial activities, strategy deployment and expansion.
• Drafting and negotiation of contracts, establishing partnerships, frame agreements for development and manufacturing of exclusive products and associated services.
• Be the sparring partner of the leadership teams in strategic projects, commercial or otherwise.
• Train business teams on risk mitigation and contract management, coordinate life cycle management.
• Organize and supervise the network of external counsels globally to ensure that local operations are appropriately supported.
• Manage disputes and litigations as required, assess contractual risks and opportunities.
• Directly support and empower commercial, research & development and innovation partnerships with clients and research centers
• Advise and directly support procurement teams in the identification, negotiation of global and local sourcing of goods and services (including raw materials, machines, engineering, real estate, energy, transport) and associated activities.
• Accompany the General Counsel in the shaping of an engaged and highly efficient legal department
• Support company’s global operations as requested

Your profile

• Qualified attorney with a demonstrated broad experience in commercial contracts negotiation, execution, and management internationally.
• Financial or business education a plus.
• 10+ years of law firm and/or in-house relevant experience in the field of commercial law.
• Hands-on legal experience either healthcare or the industry sector (construction, automotive, electronics, chemical, aerospace) and/or the consumer sector (branded products, beauty and cosmetic)
• Proven experience in business growth and transformation.
• Strong commercial acumen, proven within global manufacturing and sales organizations
• Good strategic-pragmatic mix, reliable, autonomous, agile, driven with sharp attention to details.
• Straight to the point and diplomatic approach, ability to negotiate internally with teams of diverse cultural background. Collaborative, positive mindset, empathy, and strong business partner attitude.
