LUCERNE | Start: July 2025 | 2-Year Contract (with extension potential)


Are you ready to make a real impact on environmental and workplace safety in a cutting-edge biopharma environment?


We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior EHS Specialist to lead the charge in ensuring health, safety, and environmental excellence at a high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Lucerne area,



What You’ll Do:


  • Develop and Enhance EHS Systems: Design, implement, and update local EHS policies and procedures aligned with Swiss regulations and internal standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: Monitor legal and regulatory changes, implement strategies to ensure full compliance.
  • Manage Risks: Conduct workplace and process-related risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and maintain emergency plans.
  • Train and Raise Awareness: Deliver targeted EHS training programs and lead awareness campaigns across the organization.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Support audits, inspections, CAPA tracking, and integration of EHS into project planning.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Provide expert guidance for construction projects and external contractors.


What You Bring:


  • A recognized degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certification as a Swiss AS&GS professional or equivalent.
  • 5–8 years of relevant EHS experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss and EU EHS regulations.
  • Fluent in German, with strong communication skills in English.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in GMP-regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of EKAS, OSHA, ISO standards.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactically.

Work Model:


  • Primary location is on-site in Lucerne area.
  • Option for one day of remote work per week.
