Our client is a swiss multinational manufacturer of flavours, fragrances and active cosmetic ingredients based in Geneva.

We are looking for a EHS & Security Specialist for a 7 months mission.

Your responsibilities :

Your profile :

Site inspections and advises

• Organizing regular site safety inspections, reporting findings and following up on correction & prevention actions

• Supporting and coaching departments on EHS standards by participating in operational reviews

• Participating in the implementation of the EHS culture and strategy defined by the Site Management

• Spend time on shopfloor to coach operators and middle management on different aspects: respect of procedures, best EHS practices/behaviors, reinforce key messages.

• Innovating, sharing and adopting best practices in risk prevention

• Participate actively in investigation after EHS incidents (unsafe conditions, near-misses, accidents, etc.) and maintain and develop the program and associated KPI’s.

KPIs and tracking tools management

• Classifying EHS events (accidents, near-misses and at risk situations), coaching on the creation of root-cause analysis (8D analysis) and validating REX information sheets

• Following the EHS indicators in place on the site and performs the various reporting

Compliance

• Maintaining and improving EHS processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with Swiss legislation and the Group and local standards

• Coordinating and carrying out the compliance assessment with regulatory requirements and the company standards, establishing and following the action plan with stakeholders and following up on the indicators

• Participating in the safety management system implementation of the ISO 45001 and helping to maintain the ISO 14001 certification

• Actively implicated to improve our security management tracking system (KABA access management tool, review of procedures, etc.).

Training and communication

• Developing and delivering EHS trainings and supporting EHS trainings delivered by external agencies

• Participating in the preparation of various EHS information meetings (coordination and presentation creation)

• In charge of the EHS promotion campaigns and the EHS section of our Intranet
