For an international organization we are hiring a Senior GL Accountant for a unlimited term contract.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA / ACCA or Brevet Federal and has 7 to 10 years of experience on a GL role in Switzerland or in France.

Responsabilities :

• Manage and oversee general ledger accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards (French or/and Swiss Statutory)
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings – including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure proper documentation and review of all transactions posted in the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support external audits
• Mentor and support junior accountants as needed.

• CPA or ACCA
• 7-10 years of experience as a GL accountat
• Ideally a previous experience in a Big4
• Soon available (1 month notice)
• Autonomous and pragmatic individual
• French and English (c1)
