Chris Rice is the Managing Director, Global Talent Development.
Rice is responsible for the expansion of the company’s award-winning Talent Development business, including leadership and employee development programs, executive coaching, and assessments that help companies transform their leaders and workforce by motivating and inspiring their employees and building high performance cultures.
Through innovations in digital learning methodologies, analytics, and built-in coaching, LHH is developing solutions that engage participants, shorten learning-cycle time, and improve sustainability of behavior change.
Rice has more than 30 years’ experience in the Human Capital consulting business. He held executive positions with Gallup and Drake Beam Morin before becoming President and CEO of BlessingWhite from 1999 through 2015. He is the co-author of The Engagement Equation: Leadership Strategies for an Inspired Workforce (John Wiley & Sons). He has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
With over 20 years of experience in the leadership development, management consulting and training sectors, Andrew Graham has established an international track record of leading and managing global professional services firms.
Andrew has proven business transformation capability driven through a natural people orientation, coupled with strong business acumen. Andrew served as President and CEO of Kepner-Tregoe Inc. (KT), a Princeton based consulting and training firm, which specializes in business transformation programs through the use of rational process thinking ideas that enable companies to resolve complex strategic and operational issues through the applied use of systematic process.
Joining the business in Australia, he initially focused on his client’s operational improvement projects; to support international operations, Andrew took on a turn-around leadership challenge with KT’s Tokyo operation. Over two years, he successfully guided the business towards profitability, while gaining experience with the major consumer products companies in the region. Following Japan, Andrew relocated to Europe to take a leadership role guiding the firm’s complex European operation whilst evolving it toward an integrated, pan-European, business model.
In conjunction with driving the business towards improved profitability and increased team engagement, Andrew was active amongst the company’s strategic clients delivering strategy formulation and operation improvement projects. In late 2005, Andrew was appointed COO and relocated to North America to become CEO in 2006. Under Andrew’s stewardship, the executive team designed and implemented a forward-thinking strategy, which enabled the business to weather the 2008 global financial crisis and position it for future market growth. During this period, Andrew developed a keen interest in the field of effective leadership behavior.
In 2010, he left the business to pursue this passion, relocating to Italy to serve as an adjunct professor at CIMBA University, near Venice, while studying the evolving field of neuroscience as applied to leadership behavior. Bridging to a new challenge, Andrew was appointed as President and CEO of Forum Corporation, a Boston based training company specializing in Leadership Development, Sales Effectiveness and Customer Experience management, where he led a multi- disciplinary, global team of professionals, committed to adding value to their clients through proven strategies, ideas, and innovative delivery solutions.
Andrew holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Sir John Moors University, in Liverpool, UK. He resides in Princeton, NJ and is an active member of the New York chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. In recent years he has served on the Board of Blyth Inc., a NYSE public listed company in the home expressions sector.
Andrew is a passionate aviator, in his spare time; you will find him at the controls of helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and paragliders. When not in the air, Andrew scuba dives, rides two-wheel transport, is an enthusiastic photographer and an avid, early adopter, of new technology.
Helen Symes is Senior Vice President, Talent and Leadership Development and in our Talent Development Growth Office. She is responsible for the expansion of the breadth of our talent and leadership development content with global, scalable, predictive solutions that incorporate technology, digital analytics, assessments and coaching.
Helen is a highly experienced global talent and leadership development specialist. She has particular expertise in blended and digital learning technologies and has lead the development and implementation of award-winning global learning projects. She has advised and worked with organisations of different sizes and across different sectors in leadership and talent development.
Helen began her career as an accountant - she trained, qualified and spent 10 years in finance and human capital consulting with Arthur Andersen. She has also been an entrepreneur herself in the leisure industry. As a result she brings a solid business background to her development practice. She is passionate about helping organisations deliver success through their people.
Mary Ellen joined Lee Hecht Harrison on September 1 as SVP, Global Coaching. Mary Ellen is an energetic results-driven leader experienced leading large-scale global training initiatives and forming strategic partnerships with key internal & external stakeholders.
In a previous role; Director of Global Leadership Programs at General Electric’s Healthcare (GEHC) business, Mary Ellen led the partnership with Lee Hecht Harrison to execute the Global Manager Coaching Program for 7,200 global GEHC managers over two-years demonstrating success in achieving goals and creating strong ties to business performance metrics.
Mary Ellen will be responsible for leading our global coaching practices and solutions through working with zone leadership around the world to ensure we continue to aligning our coaching process & practices to client expectations and growth with focus on 3 critical areas: • Global Coaching Infrastructure: Assessing & aligning talent and engagement processes to secure existing revenues and promote new revenues opportunities • Global Coaching Solutions: Evaluating & contemporizing existing solutions to current and future generations of leaders • New Opportunities: Integrating coaching into new Talent Development solutions and scaling regional coaching solutions for broader organizational reach Mary Ellen holds a MS with honors in Human Resource Development - University of Wisconsin-Stout and holds several professional certifications in Coaching, Change Management, Inclusive Leadership, Negotiations, Personal Effectiveness, and Developing High Performing Teams. She lives in Delafield Wisconsin enjoying most outdoor activities with her 2 daughters and 2 rescue dogs.
As Vice President of Talent Development Projects for the Talent Development Growth Office, Veronica Ross champions the team’s tactical strategies across a wide breadth of initiatives. Veronica’s involvement spans many facets of the Growth Office, notably including coaching and new product development and roll out. Veronica joined Lee Hecht Harrison in 2016 to manage several of our global Talent Development programs. Her success with these projects provided Veronica a critical understanding of LHH’s current Talent Development service offerings and methods of operation which she carries with her to the Growth Office.
Immediately prior to joining Lee Hecht Harrison, Veronica worked for a boutique employee engagement firm, consulting clients on data-based organizational solutions driven by assessments she co-created. In this role, she was also responsible for overseeing new product development based on market needs, including a heavy technology component.
Veronica also teaches collegiate Psychology in her spare time, reflecting a dedication to current research and trends. Veronica holds a Master’s degree in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from the University of New England.
Matthew Such, Ph.D. is the SVP, Assessment, Diagnostics, and Analytics. Matt has nearly 20 years of experience in the development, management, and implementation of talent measurement product strategy and programs. In this role, Matt will focus on integrating assessment and diagnostic solutions into broader LHH offerings as well as embed analytics into them.
Matt has spent time at Aon Consulting, First Advantage, and most recently comes from CEB Talent Assessment. Across these experiences, he delivered and had commercial accountability for assessment and analytics programs.
Matt also has significant experience setting firm-wide commercial and delivery strategy, with particular emphasis on how to integrate assessment content and technology into effective client delivery models. Matt holds a Doctoral degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and is a past president of the Michigan Association of I/O Psychologists. He is located in Minneapolis, MN.
