We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Functional Tester / Test Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions by designing, executing, and coordinating functional tests. You will work closely with both internal teams and customers to support the full testing lifecycle, from planning to reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop functional test cases for newly implemented features.
• Execute tests using standard configurations to validate functionality and performance.
• Document test results, linking them to specific features and identifying potential defects.
• Perform retesting and ensure timely closure of defects.
• Collaborate with customers to prepare and plan the test phase.
• Support customers in creating process-oriented end-to-end (E2E) test cases.
• Set up and manage the test phase in Jira, ensuring traceability and transparency.
• Provide regular reporting on test progress using tools such as X-Ray Execution Reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and X-Ray.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working with customers or external stakeholders is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Fluent in English and German ( C1/C2 level)
• Willingness to travel to St. Gallen
