Financial Controller (german speaker) - industrial background

Our client is a major industrial company.

We are recruiting a Financial Controller with a solid experience with cost structures within the industrial environment.

Your Role

• You assess cost structures and pricing workflows to enhance transparency and identify opportunities for strategic improvements.
• You refine and evolve cost calculation models and methodologies, aligning them with shifting market conditions and internal business needs.
• You provide valuable support to various departments by delivering in-depth cost and profitability analyses that inform key business decisions.
• You regularly track cost developments, investigate variances, and propose corrective or efficiency-boosting measures.
• You actively participate in the budgeting process and financial oversight, applying your expert knowledge.
• You contribute to offer calculations by supplying accurate data and insightful analysis.
• You create clear and impactful reports and presentations to support executive-level decision-making.

Your Profile

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a solid background in cost accounting and controlling, with a strong understanding of cost type, cost center, and cost unit accounting principles.
• You bring prior experience from a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• You possess sharp analytical thinking and a strategic mindset.
• You are self-driven, well-organized, and communicate effectively while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
• You have excellent command of German and English
