Technical Consultant (m/f/d)

We are currently partnering with a leading client in Zürich to recruit a skilled and experienced Technical Consultant (m/f/d) with a specialization in Non-Financial Master Data / Material Master Data.

• Start Date: October 1, 2025
•  Contract Duration: 14+ months, with potential for extension
• Location: Zürich (Home office option available upon request)

Your Responsibilities:

• Technical consulting, development, and implementation of solutions for the consolidation and migration of material master data in SAP MDG and CMP
• Design, development, and optimization of analytical solutions using Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI
• Harmonization and integration of master data and processes across SAP, PLM, PMD, and MDM systems
• Support and consulting in the area of units of measure (ERP, EDI, ISO codes, conversion)
• Contribution to strategy and implementation of governance in Non-Financial Master Data Management, especially during migrations and consolidation from legacy SAP systems to new SAP ERP systems
• Close collaboration with internal and external team members as well as other relevant departments and teams
• Ongoing support of data analytics projects in the areas of PLM, EHS, Finance, and Sales
• Independent development and implementation of strategies in the area of Governance Foundation, Non-Financial Master Data Management

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics, engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in SAP MDG, SAP ERP, CMP, and in technical consulting and implementation of master data solutions
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI, especially in developing analytical and harmonizing solutions
• Expert knowledge in units of measure (ERP, EDI, ISO codes, conversion) and their standardization/harmonization
• Strong understanding of complex process structures and system landscapes: interfaces to PLM, central/regional SAP ERP systems such as PMD and MDM systems
• Strong team skills and interdisciplinary working style
• Initiative, strong communication skills, and solution-oriented approach
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
