Chief Human Resources Officer (Banking & Financial Services)

About the role: 
As CHRO, you will be the person-in-charge of the entire entity and will have the backing of a strong team behind you. 
Your role is to ensure that right strategic overview of the business and aligning them with the business goals. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organizations objectives and ensuring HR initiatives support business growth. 
• Talent Development: Oversee talent development, acquisition, retention strategies, maintain skilled work force and ensure proper career paths and developments. 
• Employee Relations: Fostering a positive work environment, addressing concerns and ensuring a inclusive and diverse work environment. 
• Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits programs to ensure the right talent attraction and retainment.  
• Organizational Development: Lead organizational development, performance management, succession planning and leadership development.  
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR policies are aligned with labor laws and regulations. 

Successful candidate requirements: 

• At least 12-18 years of relevant experience 
• Banking industry work experience is preferred for this role 
• Experience in managing mid-sized to large teams remotely 
• Strategic or board level engagements are expected 
• Experience of creation of HR policies and frameworks are preferred 
• Must have either banking or financial services experience
• The candidate must be already based in Iraq and have knowledge working in Iraq and the financial services markets
