Operational Support Scientist (m/f/d)
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operational Support Scientist (m/f/d) to join the Compliance Team in Bern. In this role, you will work in key production areas including sterile filtration, aseptic filling, and pasteurization, and be part of a collaborative team of Operational Support Scientists. Your main responsibilities include:
- Creating, revising, and reviewing manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and other GMP documents
- Participating in departmental projects
- Supporting the definition, implementation, and follow-up of preventive measures (CAPAs)
- Contributing to Continuous Improvement (CI) projects or initiatives
- Compiling and evaluating electronic data
- Supporting the management team with operational tasks within the value stream
- Assisting in the handling of process deviations (conducting investigations, writing reports, etc.)
Your qualifications and experience:
- Completed scientific studies (e.g., pharmacy, chemistry, biology) at university or university of applied sciences level
- Ideally, initial professional experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry and in a GMP-regulated environment
- Independent working style and quick comprehension of new topics
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain an overview in hectic situations
- Proactive personality who can deal with uncertainty, question existing processes, and contribute suggestions
- Team player who communicates clearly and openly and actively involves stakeholders
- Fluent in German and very good English skills (spoken and written)
