About the Opportunity

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its Commercial Debt Recovery and Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a genuine interest in commercial litigation and debt recovery to develop their career within a recognised and successful practice.

The Role

The successful candidate will support a specialist debt recovery team and gain exposure to a broad range of contentious matters, including:

• Managing complex pre-action disputes.

• Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations.

• Drafting and progressing applications within court proceedings.

• Handling a caseload of defended claims, including small claims matters.

• Assisting with fast-track and intermediate-track litigation.

• Preparing witness statements and supporting evidence.

• Drafting costs schedules and related documentation.

• Instructing counsel and liaising with external advisors.

• Preparing cases for hearings and trial.
