Overview

We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Advisor to join a dynamic, international organisation. This role will play a key part in the design, implementation, and management of reward strategies, while ensuring the effective delivery of payroll across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a mid-to-senior level position, offering the opportunity to work closely with HR and business leaders to drive competitive and equitable compensation practices across a diverse and global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes across multiple locations (including the UK and international regions), ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory deadlines
  • Oversee year-end payroll activities and liaise with external payroll providers
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll-related documentation (e.g. P45s, P60s, pension contributions)
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, ensuring audit readiness
  • Provide payroll analysis and reporting to support finance and management accounting
  • Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and vendors

Compensation & Benefits (Reward)

  • Conduct compensation bench marking and market analysis to ensure competitiveness
  • Support annual salary review cycles, bonus processes, and incentive planning
  • Provide guidance on salary offers, promotions, and job evaluations
  • Partner with HR and leadership teams on job levelling and grading across multiple regions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of reward strategies and philosophy
  • Manage and enhance benefits programmes, ensuring alignment with business needs and market trends
  • Lead benefit renewal processes and maintain a clear benefits road map

HR Administration

  • Act as a key user of HR systems and maintain accurate employee data
  • Support the full employee life cycle, including on boarding, off boarding, and internal movements
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and HR best practices
  • Collaborate with Finance on workforce planning and budgeting
  • Provide first-line HR support and contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits, and payroll
  • Experience managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of job grading methodologies (e.g. Patterson, Willis Towers Watson) is an advantage
  • CIPD or Reward qualification desirable
