Corporate Associate - Manchester
A leading UK law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its highly regarded Manchester team.
Our client's Manchester corporate team advises on a broad range of transactional work, including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and equity capital markets matters, acting for clients ranging from ambitious owner-managed businesses to listed and multinational companies.
The Role
- Running your own caseload of corporate transactions with support from senior colleagues
- Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and ancillary transaction documents
- Conducting due diligence and managing transaction workstreams
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring trainees and junior associates
About You
- Circa 2-5 years PQE gained within a corporate/M&A team, ideally at a national or regional firm
- Strong technical grounding in company and commercial law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and organisational skills
- A commercially minded, client-focused approach
