LHH is delighted to be supporting a well regarded and growing commercial law firm in the appointment of a Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join its expanding Liverpool team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer with 2 to 6 years' PQE to join a successful and ambitious practice with a strong reputation across the North West. The role offers the chance to work closely with experienced partners on a broad range of high quality transactional matters for entrepreneurial, owner managed, private equity backed and larger corporate clients.

The opportunity
This role offers the chance to become a key part of a collaborative and ambitious corporate team with a strong regional presence and a high quality flow of transactional work.
You will be involved in advising on a broad range of matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Management buy-outs
- Shareholder agreements and reorganisations
- Corporate restructures
- General corporate advisory work
From the outset, you will have the opportunity to play an active role in transactions, working directly with clients, intermediaries and other professional advisers. You will be encouraged to build your own client relationships and take on meaningful responsibility in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities
You will:
- Advise on a range of corporate transactions and advisory matters
- Support and lead on deals including M&A, private equity transactions and corporate restructures
- Work closely with partners and colleagues across the team on a variety of client matters
- Build strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and other advisers
- Take an active role in transactions from an early stage
- Contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen the team's market presence
- Support the wider growth of the Liverpool office and corporate practice
About you
The successful candidate is likely to be a commercially minded corporate lawyer with solid transactional experience and a collaborative approach.
You will ideally have:
- Between 2 and 6 years' PQE in corporate law
- Strong experience in M&A and general corporate transactions
- Commercial awareness and confidence in dealing directly with clients
- A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team
- The ambition to develop your career within a growing and successful practice
- An interest in business development and building your profile in the market
