Employment Associate (2-5 PQE) | Birmingham

A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an Employment Associate (2-5 PQE) to join its growing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an expanding practice, working alongside leading specialists in the employment field, with clear scope for progression.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality employment work, supporting a diverse client base while developing your technical expertise and client relationships within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide employment law advisory support to clients
• Support senior members of the team on a range of complex matters
• Manage an Employment Tribunal caseload, with the opportunity to undertake advocacy at hearings, PHRs and CMDs where appropriate
• Conduct research, draft advice, and deliver practical solutions to client issues
• Attend client meetings and negotiations with third parties
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and delivering training

Key Requirements

• 2-5 years' post-qualified experience in Employment Law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work to challenging deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Sound judgement and a proactive approach
• Enthusiastic, committed and team-oriented
