The Opportunity

A leading national law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor into its growing Bristol Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1-ranked practice with a strong reputation across Financial Services, Health and Social Care, Insurance, Real Estate, and Government & Public Sector work.

You will work alongside highly regarded Employment Partners and senior lawyers on a broad mix of contentious and advisory matters, benefiting from exposure to complex client issues, excellent mentoring, and genuine opportunities for progression.

The Team

The team forms part of one of the UK's largest Employment, Pensions and Immigration practices and advises clients across a broad range of sectors. Lawyers work closely with colleagues nationally, allowing access to high-quality work regardless of office location.

The Role

Your work will include:

  • Advising employers on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
    * Managing Employment Tribunal claims with appropriate supervision
    * Supporting clients on restructures, redundancies and TUPE projects
    * Drafting and reviewing employment documentation and agreements
    * Delivering day-to-day HR and strategic employment advice
    * Building and maintaining strong client relationships
    * Supporting business development initiatives and client training

This role offers increasing autonomy, client exposure and the opportunity to build a strong Employment Law practice within a nationally recognised team.

About You

  • 1-4 years' PQE in Employment Law
    * Strong contentious and/or advisory Employment experience
    * Commercial and client-focused approach
    * Excellent communication and drafting skills
    * Strong organisational and matter management abilities
    * Interest in developing client relationships and business development
    * Comfortable working collaboratively across offices and teams
