M&A Tax Senior Manager 💼

💰 Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 + Excellent Benefits

I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm that's looking to appoint an M&A Tax Senior Manager to join its expanding Transaction Tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile UK and international transactions, advising a diverse client base that includes private equity-backed businesses, owner-managed companies and large corporates. You'll play a key role in delivering complex projects while helping to drive the continued growth of a well-established and ambitious team.

The Role

As an M&A Tax Senior Manager, you'll lead transaction tax engagements from initial discussions through to completion, providing commercially focused advice throughout the deal lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading tax due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Advising on transaction structures and the wider tax implications of acquisitions and disposals.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser throughout the transaction process.
• Working closely with colleagues across Tax, Corporate Finance and Advisory to deliver seamless client service.
• Supporting business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and contributing to client pitches.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the team.

About You

You'll be ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in UK Corporate Tax and/or Transaction Tax.

You'll also have:

• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to apply it in a commercial environment.
• Experience managing complex client engagements and leading project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to developing client relationships and supporting business growth.
• A genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Transaction Tax Manager ready to step into a Senior Manager position, or an existing Senior Manager looking to join a growing team with excellent long-term progression.
