The Opportunity

A leading national law firm is looking to appoint an NQ Employment Solicitor into its growing Employment team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1-ranked practice known for its collaborative culture, strong client base, and genuine investment in the development of junior lawyers.

You'll work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers on a broad mix of contentious and advisory employment matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work across a diverse range of sectors including Financial Services, Health and Social Care, Insurance, Real Estate, and Government & Public Sector.

The Team

The Employment team forms part of one of the largest Employment, Pensions and Immigration practices in the UK, comprising more than 120 lawyers nationally.

The Bristol team advises clients across Financial Services, Health and Social Care, Insurance, Real Estate, and Government & Public Sector organisations and is recognised for its technical expertise, commercial approach and collaborative culture.

Lawyers work closely with colleagues across the firm's national network, providing exposure to complex, multi-disciplinary matters and opportunities to build strong internal and external relationships.

The Role

Your work will include:

• Advising employers on a broad range of contentious and advisory employment matters
  * Supporting Employment Tribunal litigation and workplace investigations
  * Assisting with restructures, redundancies and TUPE projects
  * Drafting and reviewing employment documentation and agreements
  * Conducting legal research and preparing client advice
  * Managing matters with appropriate supervision
  * Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  * Assisting with business development and networking activities

This role offers excellent training, early responsibility, direct client contact and the opportunity to develop within a nationally recognised Employment practice.

About You

• Newly Qualified Solicitor with Employment Law seat experience
  * Strong technical knowledge and relevant seat exposure
  * Commercial, proactive and client-focused mindset
  * Excellent drafting and communication skills
  * Strong organisational and matter management abilities
  * Interest in business development and client relationship building
  * Comfortable working collaboratively across offices and teams
