A leading national law firm is working with us on an exciting opportunity to join its highly regarded Employment, Pensions and Immigration practice, with roles available in both Manchester and Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pensions solicitor to join a top tier team that advises a broad client base including some of the UK's largest and most well-known employers. The team is known for the strength of its client relationships and the quality of its commercially focused advice.
The Role
You will join a well-established pensions team supporting senior lawyers on a diverse and high quality caseload, while also gaining exposure to client development and strategic initiatives within a large firm environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of pensions matters with appropriate supervision
- Advising on a wide range of issues across both private and public sector pension schemes
- Supporting on transactional work, regulatory matters and complex scheme projects
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, trustees and other stakeholders
- Contributing to innovation initiatives and the development of new client solutions
- Supporting business development activity, including events, client engagement and thought leadership
- Working in line with firm processes, service standards and values
About You
We are keen to speak with qualified solicitors with 1-6 years' post qualification experience in pensions law, ideally gained within a recognised regional, national or international firm.
You will also demonstrate:
- A genuine interest in pensions and its commercial application
- Experience across advisory, transactional and documentation based pensions work
- Strong technical ability and excellent communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organisation skills and a structured, methodical approach
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm to contribute to a growing national practice
