"Associate - Real Estate Finance (3-5 PQE)

A leading Top 60 UK law firm with a strong and established presence in the Real Estate Finance market is seeking a 3-5 PQE Associate to join its growing team. This opportunity is available across multiple offices, including locations in the Midlands, South West, and Thames Valley.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a well-regarded Real Estate Finance practice, advising a broad client base of lenders and borrowers on a wide range of property finance matters. The team is involved in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisition finance, development funding, and refinancing arrangements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on a variety of real estate finance transactions, acting for both lenders and borrowers
  • Supporting and leading on transactions involving property acquisitions, development projects, and refinancing
  • Working with a diverse range of clients, including high street banks, challenger banks, bridging lenders and alternative finance providers
  • Managing files independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider real estate group
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and building strong internal and external relationships
  • Staying up to date with legal and market developments within real estate finance

Candidate Requirements

  • 3-5 years' PQE with experience in real estate finance or a commercial property background with exposure to finance work
  • Strong technical and drafting skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage matters with a level of autonomy
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills with a proactive mindset
