About the Opportunity
A highly regarded commercial law firm is looking to recruit a Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join its established and growing Real Estate team.
This opportunity is ideal for a solicitor with 2-4 years' PQE who is seeking exposure to a broad range of commercial property and real estate finance matters. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base, including lenders, borrowers, developers, investors and businesses, on a wide variety of funding and property transactions.
The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a range of commercial property and real estate finance matters, including:
- Property and development finance transactions.
- Commercial and residential development projects.
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters.
- Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property interests.
- Property due diligence and transaction management.
- Supporting the property aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals.
- Acting for both lenders and borrowers on secured funding transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating property-related documentation.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to build specialist real estate finance expertise while working as part of a collaborative and highly respected team.
Candidate Profile
Applications are welcomed from solicitors with 2-4 years' PQE and experience across commercial property matters, particularly those involving finance and secured lending transactions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience advising on property finance and development finance matters.
- Knowledge of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals.
- Experience handling landlord and tenant work.
- A strong understanding of the property aspects of funding transactions.
- Excellent technical and drafting skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- An interest in business development and market engagement.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
