Senior Associate - Finance - Manchester
Our client, a leading national and international law firm, is looking for a Finance Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its highly ranked, fast-growing Manchester finance team. This is a chance to work on a sophisticated mix of financing matters, alongside leading practitioners, within a practice known for technical excellence and a strong collaborative culture.
You will join a national finance team advising on significant regional and national banking transactions spanning corporate lending, leveraged finance and real estate finance, working with a broad range of UK and international clients on complex, high-value deals.
The Opportunity You will work on some of the most complex and high-value finance transactions in the region, acting for top-tier clients including clearing banks, private credit funds, alternative lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers spanning high-growth SMEs through to listed businesses - building relationships with some of the most sophisticated operators in the market.

What You'll Do
- Work across a broad range of banking transactions, including corporate lending, leveraged finance and real estate finance
- Handle a mix of regional, national and international transactions
- Support partners on complex matters while supervising and developing junior lawyers
- Draft and lead negotiations on principal finance documents, combining strong technical knowledge with pragmatic commercial advice
- Take a leading role in transaction management, helping deals progress efficiently
- Build lasting client relationships and contribute to business development, supporting the team's continued growth
- Work closely within a high-performing Manchester team and the wider national practice
