- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in rocket propulsion systems
- Minimum 5+ years of technical leadership or managerial experience
- Strong expertise in liquid and/or solid propulsion design and development
- Proven experience in combustion analysis, propulsion thermodynamics, and fluid systems
- Experience with engine test campaigns, hot-fire testing, and performance validation
- Solid understanding of high-pressure systems, cryogenic systems, or propellant management (preferred)
- Experience working in safety-critical and high-reliability aerospace environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to take technical ownership from concept through qualification and delivery
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of liquid and/or solid rocket propulsion systems
- Define propulsion architecture including combustion chamber, injector systems, turbopumps, feed systems, and nozzle assemblies
- Perform thermodynamic, fluid dynamic, and combustion analyses to optimize engine performance
- Conduct performance simulations, trade studies, and system sizing activities
- Oversee structural integrity and thermal analysis of propulsion components
- Lead subsystem integration activities between propulsion, structures, avionics, and guidance teams
- Define and supervise qualification, validation, and hot-fire test campaigns
- Review and approve test data, identify root causes, and implement corrective design actions
- Ensure compliance with aerospace safety, quality, and reliability standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship within propulsion engineering teams
