Our client is seeking an experienced Warhead & Fuze Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of advanced warhead systems and fuze mechanisms for precision rocket platforms.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Min 6 years of experience with team leading background
- Strong understanding of energetic materials and detonation physics
- Knowledge of safety standards and explosive handling procedures
- Experience in system validation and controlled testing environments
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- High attention to detail and safety disciplin
This role involves the analysis of energetic materials, fragmentation design, detonation behavior, and safe activation mechanisms. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical rigor, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to operate within highly controlled engineering environments.
Job Description
- Design and develop warhead systems in accordance with performance and safety requirements
- Analyze energetic material behavior and detonation characteristics
- Develop and validate fuze mechanisms, including activation and safety logic
- Conduct fragmentation and blast effect analysis
- Support laboratory testing, qualification processes, and safety evaluations
- Collaborate with propulsion, structural, and guidance engineering teams for full system integration
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and handling protocols
- Prepare technical documentation, safety assessments, and validation reports
