Accountant

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our client’s accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and experience managing day-to-day financial operations. This role supports accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal and external standards. This position is direct hire and will pay between $65K and $80K annually.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports for management review
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (Required)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
