Accountant

We’re hiring a skilled and dependable Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a reputable organization located in Cleveland. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is ready to take ownership of core accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger entries and assist with month-end close
Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
Support accounts payable and receivable functions
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Pay Details: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour
