LHH is supporting a well‑established organization who is seeking an Accountant to join a fast‑paced operations support team in Columbus, OH. This role focuses on reviewing, validating, and processing financial‑related requests while partnering closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution
Responsibilities:
Review and validate incoming accounting‑related requests to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and required documentation
Utilize internal systems and supporting paperwork to confirm requests are eligible for processing
Partner with internal teams to obtain approvals and resolve questions as needed
Enter and maintain data in spreadsheets and customer portals according to specific requirements
Communicate approvals, denials, and follow‑up requests professionally with external partners
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and internal channels while maintaining strong working relationships
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
At least 1 year of prior experience in accounting operations, logistics, transportation, or a similar fast‑paced environment preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documentation for accuracy and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables and vlookups), Outlook, and Teams
Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to multitask
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
