Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant to join a collaborative Accounting & Finance team in the Real Estate Industry. This role supports core accounting and financial reporting activities for a diversified real estate portfolio and offers exposure to both operational and reporting functions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and values teamwork, learning, and long-term growth. Experience should include strong general ledger accounting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliations and account analysis
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Prepare general ledger entries, accruals, and supporting workpapers
• Partner with cross-functional teams including property management and asset management
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with audits, tax support, and ad hoc accounting projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior accounting experience (AP and/or AR exposure preferred)
• Real Estate Industry preferred
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Experience with accounting systems is a plus; willingness to learn new systems required

 

Compensation:

$85,000-$90,000

 

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision

PTO is offered on an accrual basis

Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
