Job Title: Accounting Analyst (2 Open Positions)
Location: Remote (Must work PST hours)
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary/Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking two Accounting Analysts to support a high-volume data processing and documentation effort related to contractual reporting and union/guild obligations. These are remote roles, but candidates must be available to work standard Pacific Time (PST) business hours.
The ideal candidates will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently with large datasets and production-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire and organize production-related documents such as final payroll cast lists, deal memos, and timekeeping records
Collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure timely receipt of required documentation
Maintain a working knowledge of relevant contractual provisions and industry standards
Accurately enter and manage large volumes of data while maintaining confidentiality
Stay current on changes to internal processes and applicable reporting requirements
Provide regular updates on status and progress to leadership
Respond to inquiries from stakeholders professionally and promptly
Identify and recommend process improvements where applicable
Required Qualifications:
Basic Excel skills (e.g., data entry, formatting, simple formulas)
Experience with residuals, timekeeping systems, or contract administration
Familiarity with union/guild documentation and industry standards
Background in entertainment, media, or production accounting a plus
