LHH is assisting a client with their need for a contract to hire Accounting Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a very well established construction company in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid position, offering one remote day per week.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, bills, and receipts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Enter and update data in accounting software and spreadsheets.
Monitor and track expenses, ensuring proper documentation and coding.
Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial matters.
Maintain organized files and records for audits and compliance purposes.
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, copying, scheduling, and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
AP and/or AR experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
