Accounting Specialist
As an Accounting Specialist, you would be responsible for maintaining the processing and timely payments of company invoices as well as weekly administration of payroll for 60 employees.
Responsibilities Include:
GL coding, approval, and weekly check runs
Allocate invoices to obtain approval
Consolidate and prepare invoices for payment via checks, portal or ACH
Apply/Audit GL codes to invoices
Monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and point of contact for vendors regarding invoice inquiries
Audit timecards for accuracy
Compute manual checks when needed
Process garnishments (TN only)
Set up new hires, terminations, and direct deposit accounts
Act as liaison between Gusto and employees
Process and submit weekly payroll
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of accounts payable/receivable and payroll experience
Quickbooks & Gusto platform experience preferred but not required
Must be comfortable working in a team setting/onsite in Oak Ridge, TN
Excel- Basic
Pay $22/hr
This is an onsite position location in Oak Ridge, TN
Hours: M-F (40 hours/week), Flexible start/end times (7-9am)
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
