We’re working with a well‑established company in Knoxville, TN to hire an Accounting Clerk for a fully onsite, temp‑to‑hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting experience in a stable, hands‑on environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Enter invoices, process payments, and apply cash
Perform basic account reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support month‑end close activities
Assist with data entry, reporting, and general accounting support
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications
1–3 years of accounting or clerical accounting experience
Basic understanding of AP/AR
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
Proficient in Excel and data entry
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to work fully onsite in Knoxville
