Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000 annually (DOE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team in downtown Jacksonville. This is a full-time, onsite position offering stability, growth potential, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and experience handling day-to-day financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Prepare and distribute invoices, checks, and financial reports
  • Support the accounting team with audits and other projects as needed
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and billing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
