LHH is partnering with a growing technology client in the North Oklahoma City, OK area to find an Accounting Manager.  We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our client’s financial operations and reporting functions. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, advanced proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, and a collaborative leadership style.  

This is an in office position Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.

  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and filings.

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls.

  • Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including some background in a managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (Power Query, DAX, dashboard creation).

  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
