Accounting Specialist
Location: Calabasas, CA
Pay: $23–$27/hour (based on experience)
Type: Contract-to-Hire | Fully Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Calabasas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, supporting both accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports with accuracy and in a timely manner.

  • Assist with accounts receivable functions, including preparing invoices and tracking customer payments.

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies.

  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions for audit readiness.

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Respond to vendor and client inquiries professionally and promptly.

  • Assist with special projects and reporting as needed by the accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.



Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
