Accounting Specialist (Contract)
Location: Riverside, CA
Schedule: Fully Onsite
Pay: $24 – $26/hour (depending on experience)
Contract Length: 3–5 months

About the Role:
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role will support daily accounting operations and assist with financial reporting while providing hands-on support to the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness

• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries

• Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly

• Maintain organized and accurate financial records (digital and paper)

• Support the accounting team with reporting and other projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR required)

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar preferred)

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work onsite in Riverside, CA for the full duration of the contract

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
