Accounting Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Onsite
Salary: $26/hr - $31/hr (potentially higher depending on experience)

Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our client's team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position also requires experience supporting accounting for multiple clients across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements to maintain accuracy.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain general ledger records and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Assist in tax filings and audit preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and reporting.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.
• Experience supporting accounting for multiple clients across multiple platforms.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms. This includes intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables & VLOOKUP)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.



Pay Details: $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
