Accounting Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join a team in Tempe! This role will support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with general accounting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with Excel in a fast-paced environment. This role is Monday-Friday, sully onsite and is paying between $25/hr-$29/hr.

This role will support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with general accounting functions. Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Process invoices, payments, and customer account transactions.
- Assist with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and maintain accounting data.
- Provide general accounting support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred
- Previous accounting experience involving both AP and AR.
- Intermediate Excel skills required.(Creating VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and journal entries is a plus.
