Accounts Payable Accountant | Hybrid – Charlotte, NC
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, including processing invoices, executing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a proactive, team-
oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
· Review, code, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval
· Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) in a timely manner
· Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances
· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
· Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms
· Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reporting
· Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
· Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
· 1–3+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
· Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
· Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Compensation and Work Schedule
· $60,000 - $65,000
· Hybrid schedule after initial training period; 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
