Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator for a well-established manufacturing company with a centralized accounting shared services operation. This role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who has worked in a high-volume, ERP-driven AP environment and enjoys resolving discrepancies, supporting vendors, and partnering with internal business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume accounts payable invoices, including three-way match (PO-based) and non-PO invoices
Perform invoice processing, validation, and resolution within enterprise ERP systems
Research and resolve unmatched invoices, pricing discrepancies, and vendor statement variances
Respond to vendor inquiries related to invoice status, payment timing, and discrepancies
Communicate with internal approvers regarding unapproved or delayed expenditures
Prepare stop payment and void requests when necessary
Escalate unresolved AP issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
Maintain detailed documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AP processes
Partner with internal teams including Finance, Sourcing, Logistics, and Operations
Maintain strict confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance standards
Skills & Qualifications
2–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or high-volume environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
Strong understanding of accounts payable lifecycle, including invoice matching and reconciliation
Experience working in ERP systems (manufacturing ERP experience a plus)
Proven ability to reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Professional communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
