What This Role Looks Like Day‑to‑Day
As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll be the connector between invoices, expense reports, internal teams, and external vendors.
Coordinate the full lifecycle of vendor invoices — from receipt to payment
Review, code, and enter invoices accurately into the accounting system
Process and track employee expense reports, ensuring policy compliance
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents when applicable
Prepare payment batches, including checks, ACH, and electronic payments
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve questions quickly
Maintain clean, organized vendor records including W‑9s and payment details
Support month‑end close activities and provide audit documentation as needed
Identify small process improvements that make AP more efficient and accurate
What Will Help You Succeed Here
2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
Experience with invoices and expense reimbursement processing
Comfort working with accounting or ERP software and Excel
Strong attention to detail without losing sight of deadlines
Clear, professional communication skills
