Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Hamilton, NJ (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Hamilton, NJ. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in a temp-to-perm capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience in high-volume AP processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts (three-way match)
• Prepare and execute check runs and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and research/resolve discrepancies
• Assist with AP-related month-end close activities
• Maintain organized and compliant AP records
• Support other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills for vendor and internal interactions
