Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high‑volume, PO‑driven AP environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven, and comfortable working across multiple accounting systems while collaborating with internal teams and vendors. This is a direct hire AP role paying $70k-$75k.
Key Responsibilities
Perform three‑way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
Analyze and enter logistics invoices related to customer and warehouse shipments
Communicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies
Review and process new vendor setup documentation
Meet weekly payment run deadlines and support month‑end close activities
Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accrued Expenses accounts at month end
Code company credit card expenses to appropriate accounts and ensure proper documentation
Assist with internal audit requests and year‑end 1099 filings
Partner with other departments to identify and support process improvements
Support ad hoc projects and additional accounting tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment
Strong understanding of PO‑based AP and three‑way matching
Hands‑on experience with NetSuite required
Solid Excel skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Manufacturing industry
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
Additional accounting experience such as accruals, journal entries, or account reconciliations
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
