LHH is partnering with a company in the Bothell, WA area to search for a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist. This person will manage invoices, ensure payments are made on time, and respond to vendor inquiries. This role works in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and partners closely with vendors and internal teams so professional communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of previous AP experience. This position offers a quick interview process so apply now!
Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, review, and verify vendor invoices, including matching to purchase orders and receipts when applicable
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up on approvals or missing information
  • Prepare and support weekly and off cycle payment runs (ACH, wire, and check)
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and confirm policy adherence
  • Respond to vendor questions and perform statement reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals and reporting
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and organized audit documentation
  • Track recurring invoices and invoices pending approval or resolution
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of accounts payable experience
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of invoices with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with full procure-to-pay cycles and AP controls
  • Comfortable working with accounting systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities


Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
