Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

LHH has partnered with an logistics company in Cherry Hill, NJ their search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working with a collaborative accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Process high volume invoices weekly with strong accuracy
Code invoices to appropriate GL accounts, departments, and locations
Manage multiple AP inboxes and route invoices accordingly
Review and verify invoice details and approvals
Apply use tax where applicable
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
Set up new vendors and complete credit applications
Reconcile purchasing cards and American Express accounts monthly
Provide backup support to senior AP staff
Qualifications
Prior Accounts Payable or bookkeeping experience required
Working knowledge of a Chart of Accounts
ERP System Experience a Plus!
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle high volume and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint

Salary up to $60,000 annually

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
