Accounts Payable Specialist

Our firm is partnering with a client in the Cincinnati, OH area to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp‑to‑hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a structured accounting environment and is looking for long‑term growth potential.
Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
Assist with check runs and electronic payments
Maintain vendor files and communicate with vendors as needed
Reconcile statements and support month‑end close
Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures
Assist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
At least 2 years of accounts payable experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
