Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re partnering with a client in search of a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Cleveland, OH on a contract basis. This is a full-cycle AP role in a high-volume environment, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid foundation in accounting operations. The position will be fully on-site and offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced finance team.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice processing, coding, and payment

• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close

• Maintain accurate records and support audit readiness

• Utilize Excel for reporting, analysis, and formatting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable

• Experience working in a high-volume AP environment

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and formatting

• Ability to work fully on-site in Cleveland, OH

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
