Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our clients in Decatur, GA. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and demonstrates a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently (3-way match experience preferred)
Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and payment details
Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
Assist with month-end close, including accruals and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
Support audits by providing required documentation and reports
Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes
Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs a plus)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience working in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
Knowledge of GAAP principles

Pay Details: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour
