LHH is partnering with a dynamic and growing organization to identify a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role offers a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in-office) and the opportunity to contribute to a well-structured finance function that values efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a critical role in managing the full-cycle AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with large volumes of transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals

  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts where applicable

  • Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments

  • Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively

  • Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

  • Utilize ERP system for transaction processing and reporting

  • Leverage Excel for data tracking, reporting, and reconciliations

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume setting

  • Experience working with an ERP-based accounting system required

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc. a plus)

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

  • Self-starter with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
